01A bigger display does not answer every phone question
Genesis combines driving information, vehicle status and navigation on the 27-inch OLED display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto bring compatible phone functions into that layout.
During a parked demonstration, open your usual map and audio app. Check readability from your normal seat position, then switch back to the vehicle controls. Decide whether those everyday tasks feel straightforward before screen size settles your choice.
02Bring your phone and your usual case
Bring your usual phone and case. Test projection first, then ask about the available charging pad and Digital Key 2 individually. A phone that charges wirelessly does not automatically support using it as a vehicle key.
Discuss the setup before handing over an unlocked phone. If you share the SUV, ask how another driver receives and loses access. Remove any pairing or personal account information you added before leaving the demonstration vehicle.
03Leave with a three-part answer
Before choosing a vehicle, you should know which of your apps you can use, whether your phone and case work with the available charger, and whether the selected SUV and device support Digital Key 2. If you only need maps and music, start with projection; add the other features to your checklist when you expect to use them.
